Dawlish & Teignmouth Camera Club
Dawlish & Teignmouth Camera Club runs weekly meetings, workshops and club trips for all who want to improve their photography skills.
Some of us still practise traditional photography with both slides and print film. If you use slides, a member will digitally convert them for free so that you can enter our ‘projected images’ competitions. However, the majority of members have gone totally digital using prints, digitally displayed images and audio visuals to show their work. The club has members who can help with cameras, lenses, Photoshop techniques, film, printing issues, mounts and displays.
The members are only too happy to share their experience with new members.
We have a varied programme, which includes external judges and speakers, that runs from September till the end of April. All are welcome to join us for two meetings before they formally become members.
The current subscription is £35 per season plus £1 towards refreshments at each meeting attended.
PLEASE NOTE: THE REGULAR WEDNESDAY EVENING MEETINGS TAKE PLACE AT 7.30PM IN THE JOAN COPP ROOM, THE NEW EXTENSION AT HOLCOMBE VILLAGE HALL(OPPOSITE THE CASTLE INN ON THE JUNCTION OF HOLCOMBE ROAD WITH FORDENS LANE) IN HOLCOMBE WHICH IS ABOUT HALF WAY BETWEEN DAWLISH AND TEIGNMOUTH..
