Volunteers and Trustees

Volunteers

You can help support TAAG in delivering its services to the community by becoming a volunteer.

We are a wholly volunteer-run organisation and there are plenty of jobs that need to be done. These include stewarding, helping with publicity, cleaning, helping to set up exhibitions, opening and closing the premises, basic bookkeeping, and much more.

If you think you can help us please get in touch via the email info@teignmoutharts.org and we will get back to you.

Trustees

If you have particular skills eg bookkeeping/accounting, legal expertise, project and/or building management etc - and you’re prepared to contribute some time and your skills - why not apply to become a trustee? It can be challenging but rewarding.

We are always on the lookout for people with skills who can help us guide TAAG forward into the next phase when we will be running new workshops and exhibitions, while progressing the refurbishment of the upstairs to deliver new artists studios and a new bigger workshop.

Please read through the information below. If you are interested just email us for an informal discussion about the job with our Chairperson and/or other trustees. Depending upon the outcome, you may then progress to an interview and references etc.

Alternatively, you may choose to volunteer initially, and see more of what the job entails. Either way, we will be grateful for any help you can offer.
